A Major Step Forward in Beam Processing

We reached an exciting milestone with the installation of a new Voortman robotic beam line, representing the largest single equipment investment in the history of our 124-year-old company.

Even more exciting — the system has officially made its first cut on a production part.

This major addition to our shop marks a significant step forward in expanding our structural processing capabilities and improving the efficiency of downstream fabrication.

What This Means for Our Customers

This new beam line will process up to four times the output of our previous machine, significantly increasing our structural processing capacity while improving precision.

In addition to cutting and drilling, the machine also produces layout marking directly on the beam, which helps speed up downstream fabrication. By automating this step, our team can reduce manual layout work and improve efficiency during the welding and assembly stages.

The installation is now complete and our team is currently running test material and fine-tuning the system as we prepare for full production.
