Robbie joined Nix Industrial in October of 2022 as a Detailer with our Structural Fabrication team. Robbie graduated Louisville Technical Institute with an Associate’s degree in Architecture Drafting. Robbie has 20+ years of experience as a Draftsman with skills in digitizing, field surveying, CAD, AutoCAD and SDS/2. Robbie’s current responsibilities at Nix Industrial include reviewing new drawings for jobs when they come in for both Rockport and Poseyville operations, setting up drawings in SDS according to the designs and modeling them for fabrication purposes, and once approved, issuing the drawings for release to our fabrication shops. Robbie stays in touch with our fabrication teams throughout the project life cycle, assisting with any questions or issues that arise.
