Payton joined Nix Industrial as an engineering intern in May 2023 while attending Vincennes University, where he earned an associate’s degree in Product Design & Production Processes. He later earned his bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Technology from Purdue University before joining the team full-time in May 2026.

As Project Engineer, Payton uses FARO 3D scanning technology and SolidWorks to create accurate designs and support projects from concept to completion. He also works closely with our team on the shop floor to ensure each project delivers the best possible outcome for our customers.
