POSEYVILLE, IN — October 13, 2026 —NIX® Industrial is making a multi-million dollar investment in its Poseyville operations, expanding its fabrication facility and adding advanced manufacturing equipment to support large-format part production.
The investment includes a 20,000-square-foot fabrication shop addition that will house a laser cutter, a large dual robotic weld cell, and a powder coating system. For the fifth-generation company, the expansion represents another step in a long history of investing in its people, facilities, and capabilities while remaining rooted in Southern Indiana.
The new addition will bring together three key capabilities:
Laser cutting equipment to expand in-house material processing and produce precise, repeatable parts.
A large dual robotic weld cell to increase efficiency on repetitive welding tasks and support consistency across production runs.
A powder coating system to strengthen finishing capabilities and coordinate work from fabrication through coating.
By connecting these processes within the expanded facility, NIX® Industrial will be better equipped to manage production at scale and give customers a single partner for multiple stages of manufacturing.
The investment in automation builds on the expertise of NIX® Industrial’s team members. Their knowledge remains essential to programming equipment, setting up jobs, and verifying quality throughout production.
The new technology also creates opportunities for team members to develop technical skills in laser processing and automated welding, strengthening the company’s workforce alongside its physical capabilities.
The expansion positions NIX® Industrial to pursue larger manufacturing opportunities while keeping that growth rooted in Southern Indiana. It reflects a long-term commitment to the Poseyville community and to customers who rely on the company as their project needs evolve.
As NIX® Industrial approaches its 125th anniversary in 2027, this investment continues a tradition of adapting, improving, and building for the future.
