Nix Industrial recently partnered with the Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center (SICTC) to host the 4th Annual 2026 SICTC Welding Competition, bringing together skilled competitors from across the region for a day focused on craftsmanship, precision, and the future of the trades.
From high school students to experienced professionals, participants stepped up to test their welding abilities in a competitive, real-world environment. The event showcased not only technical skill, but also the work ethic and attention to detail that define success in the welding and fabrication industry.

Events like the SICTC Welding Competition play an important role in strengthening the pipeline of skilled trades talent. By creating opportunities for students and professionals to compete, learn, and connect, we continue to invest in the future of manufacturing and fabrication.
