Overview
An automotive manufacturer in the plastics industry approached us with a safety project involving their newly acquired plastic injection molding press. The customer needed to create a safe working environment around the press. The project included the design, fabrication, and installation of platforms, catwalks, ladders, steps, and handrails. The customer requested a complete turnkey solution—from initial design to final installation—within a timeline of 6–8 weeks.
Our Process
3D Scanning & Design: Using advanced 3D scanning technology, we retrieved precise measurements of the molding press and its surrounding area. Our engineering team created detailed models based on the scan, ensuring all safety features were integrated.
Customer Collaboration: The customer reviewed the 3D models and provided feedback. This ensured all safety and operational needs were met before fabrication began.
Fabrication & Powder Coating: Once the designs were approved, we fabricated the platforms, catwalks, ladders, steps, and handrails. To ensure durability and a professional finish, all components were powder-coated in-house.
Installation: Our team installed the completed safety structures at the customer’s site, making sure everything was securely anchored and aligned with industry safety standards.
